Maizy F has been building a platform for female hiphop artists in the city for quite some time, She’s not the only one we have HOTT TV as well and a few others.
HOTT TV is a platform that showcases for Canadian artists in general but she is a stand out herself being female in an industry dominated by men, As a male director I salute you.
Now let’s get in to this cypher.. in this edition ( 3.0 ) we have 6 lovely talented female artists.. Some I’ve personally never heard of but blew out team away. They are
Sapphire Steamy , Ekelle ,LD,TRi SHY , Ruff Gewel , MaizyF ..
All 6 ladies come hard, within this edition and keep up entertained and blown away by the lyrical talent.
Steamy comes at us with some hard lyrics you’d hear within the streets she let’s us know that she may be pretty but she’s a lyrical gangstress. ( Female gangster ). Ekelle, Puts some straight knowledge on us and let’s us know that even your closest friend could be your biggest hater. LD talks about coming up within the “slums” and making her way on her own. TRi SHY comes hard on the beat let’s us know that she was born in the ghetto by a single mother but always knew she was loved. Ruff Gewel comes in like a pitbull with her fast flowing flow, she let’s you know that just because she’s small doesn’t mean she can’t take over. Maizy F hits us with a strong message on the LGBT and the difficulties she can go through an it’s hard when the hate is coming straight from your own family, but that doesn’t stop her.
