Rooks McCoy utilizes his gruff attitude and style well in the music video for With You.
The video was directed by Nas Media and Dope Boyz Muzic handled track production. The end product is a satisfying, three minute long visual treat with lush natural scenery and great audio quality to complement it nicely. There is no clipping, and you can distinguish the hi’s mid’s and lo’s from the rest of the beat.
The track centers around the fact that McCoy has made a name and foundation for himself from a small beginning, and that he isn’t interested in paying mind to other egos that want to stake competition. It seems that from the lyrics and attitude behind the song, actions speak louder than words and McCoy is telling the competition to “Come get some” or sit down and pay respect.
