Robin Banks Family Starts “Fund Raising Campaign” To Help With Rehab

0

Just a short time ago a fundraising campaign was started to help fund the costs of Robin Bank’s rehabilitation costs.

Early April 3rd 2017 the Toronto artist was shot multiple times outside of a Hookah lounge in Vaughn, being shot 9 times and in life threatening condition he pulled through.

Multiple fundraising campaigns have been set up in Robin’s name but his family is claiming none of them were set up by them until today when they launched the “YouCaring” fundraiser.

The family is trying to raise $300,000 to help cover the costs of rehabilitation and moving him forward.

Robin is known for his quick rise in the music industry with his single “Up Next, Club  TT , Abaay Abaay & more” and the “6 God” himself shouting him out.

Hours after Robin was announced to be one of the victims in this shooting, Artist’s started sending their prayers one of the biggest to be Meek Mill.

Here is the link for his fundraising campaign and the information the family has provided.

First we want to mention that Liban Randall also known as Robin Banks is 22 years old, he was one of the new up and coming artists in Toronto. He caught the eye of several record companies and finally decided to sign with a major label out of Philadelphia.  While Liban was celebrating his signing, he was viciously and senselessly attacked, shot more than 9 times, only by the grace of the Almighty has he survived. Unfortunately as a result of the gunshot wounds, his spinal cord was severed and Liban will need extensive therapy and rehabilitation.

Liban is a caring and considerate son, a nephew, a cousin, a loving brother and grandson to his family. His friends, fellow artists and people who know him talked about his humble and generous nature while he was fighting for his life.

The family is hopeful that he will recover to a degree that he can be self-sustaining and a contributor to society but his injuries will require significant rehabilitation, extensive medical therapies and costly equipment.

We are asking the Somali community and the music community to come together for this tragic situation.  All funds will go toward Liban’s medical treatments, recovery and rehabilitation. Liban’s family truly appreciate the love and support from friends, his fellow artists and his fans during this difficult time. Liban proved to be a fighter in enduring multiple life-sustaining interventions in the Critical Care Unit, we would appreciate any help and support to carry the fight with and for him.

  • Please be aware of all non-genuine fundraising sites opened under Liban Randall/Robin Banks’ This is the only genuine support fund set up by his family.
