If I had to sum this mixtape up in one word, it would be versatility. Ramone aka R-Tripz has blessed us with one of the most fulfilling mixtapes to come out of Toronto in 2015.

“My Name Is Ramone” will have you bumping & motivated from his intro, right through to the last beat of the final track.

The Toronto rapper’s most recent mixtape includes features from some of the bigger up and comers that we have seen out here in Toronto, his features include; Peter Jackson and JD Era, even Tory Lanez jumped on board to throw a hook in on the opening track.

R-Tripz has definitely impressed us, with this new mixtape, he has made a statement, heès proved to us that he only “plays ball” with the best. His versatility can only be out shinned by his pure talent, he has provided us with tracks you can take your girl home to tonight, and then have you back grindin’ with your team the next day.

Most of these artists we’ve witness who try and pursue both the singing and rapping fields of the market end up having one skill that will overshadow the other.

R-Tripz shows you that his skill set has been finely tuned, which in hindsight should have been obvious by acknowledging who he associates himself with. The mixtape is hosted by Toronto’s one and only Rock Da House and proudly stamped by KILO, a high paced rising label out of the Toronto, that has been providing the hip hop scene with nothing but all stars.

My best advice for you as a reader is to get a hold of this mixtape and take a listen for yourself, the only problem you will have is finding speakers loud enough so that your whole block can hear it. 4 out of 5 stars, this mixtape definitely makes it into the play list.
