My name is Matt Miller and I am a 20 year old producer from Calgary, Alberta. I release my instrumental music under the name ‘Blume’. I am a multi-instrumentalist and often incorporate elements of guitar, piano and strings into my music.
My main influences comes from maverick producers such as Nujabes, J Dilla, Tom Mische and Kaytranada. I am the live guitar player as well as the in-house producer for Canadian rapper ‘The Blue’, who I am currently producing an album for. I will also be releasing an EP with Canadian rapper ‘Pat Clifton’ in early summer 2016. Under the name ‘Blume’ I will be producing two instrumentals a month for an entire year and am always looking for artists of all styles to collaborate.
