Aneesa Badshaw portrays the princess on the new Riff Raff single cover art that is going viral. The song is called “Jazzmine”, and it’s a remake of the classic Aladdin tune “A Whole New World”. Princess Jasmine, the iconic Disney character that Badshaw grew up loving, is depicted for the vibes on the cover. The song and Badshaw’s cover art premiered on The Houston Chronicle, the 3rd largest paper in the United States.
Riff Raff’s “Jazzmine” has a full blown production team that consists of Jonathan Hay, Mike Smith, Ranna Royce, King Graint, Jenvoix, Shachar Boussani, Iliana Eve, Benny Reid and Pyrmds. They all worked together to capture the passion of the original Aladdin vibes, with Badshaw providing the creative direction. This isn’t the first success this group of people have shared together, as she worked alongside most of these same artists for the #1 Billboard Jazz album “Jazz (Deluxe)” by Smith and Hay.
