This is the debut single from hip hop artist and self-taught producer Villa from Brampton, Canada. “Daddy Was A Stoner” is his personal story of growing up with a Rasta father and living amongst the struggles of adulthood from the curious perspective of himself as a child. Filmed on the block he grew up on with the people who helped make him who he is today, this music video is an ode to the good old days and the better ones ahead.
