Casper TNG flexes hard in the video for Burberry Closet.
If you enjoy trap music, Burberry Closet should sate your lust for the genre. TNG has great energy on camera and his projection of lyrics is relatively clear. Another nice treat about this track is that despite the fact it is a trap song, TNG is mumble-free and seems to actually enunciate his lyrics. This is great in a time of over-fed egos attached to mumble-mouths that can’t flow to a beat worth P!$$. There are very few emcees that can make “mumble-mouth” work (here’s looking at you, Migos).
The video was directed and edited by HamProductionz and the quality is great. Framing is clear and without obstruction, shots look proper and the subjects look crisp. The apartment scenes of TNG with his collective really capture the camaraderie/loyalty he claims to have, so we know the emcee isn’t gassing him-self up.
In conclusion, Burberry Closet is a solid track for the trap genre that doubles as a great testament to the fact that you don’t need to sound like a comatose gorilla in order to pull off trap music. Leave the mumbling to Migos, emcees of the world. The trend needs to end.
