Another strong lyrical release from Casino Costa depicting the struggles of young men facing the trials and
tribulations of growing up financially unstable, witnessing other children with privilege and money and family
growing up differently.
The complex brews and the internal battle creates deep anger. The sentiment, and the energy behind those feelings
are the thesis of the hard-hitting record.
It portrays the misconceptions of drug dealing black kids and the stereotypes that play into those misconceptions.
The track also pays tribute to many people who have passed away throughout Costa’s life. These battles in the streets and battles in health, and with a special dedication to Ryan “ENOS” Benson, long-time friend to Casino Costa, who lost his battle to cancer last year. Through his passion and storytelling, Costa pays homage to their legacy while simultaneously building his own.
