ARTSCHOOL gives us their latest visual treatment for “Kreuger”, the first single from their album “Golden Gun“.
ARTSCHOOL is a Toronto based production duo composed of URGIO, a 27-year-old Brazilian-born immigrant and NDRU, a 23-year-old Portuguese-Canadian. Both producers joined forces in 2013, shortly after working on fellow Toronto rapper Quanche last project, “Face Of Judas”. In 2015 following their first release, “Nomad” which was used in the ALIFE Spring 2014 LookBook, the duo self-released a short 3 song EP named “CMY” via SoundCloud.
ARTSCHOOL has been putting some crazy thought into their visuals. “Kreuger” is a very eerie and confusing visual dystopia that remains beautifully intriguing until the very end. A young lady is out for a good time. She seems to be overly intoxicated bumping into people, hitting on random guys and stealing their drinks. After getting kicked out by a security guard, she walks down the streets not aware of her surroundings. The video eventually takes a turn for the worse.
We can’t wait for act 2 of this production – so we can see how the story plays out…
