The song “free” featuring Thabo was written because I felt the weight of pleasing every listener lifted off my shoulders when I realized that I first make music for me and that is the best way I can create. The song is a representation of certain train of thoughts and experiences I’ve come across in the whole music business. The song is liberating as it says that we don’t care about what others think of what we are doing. All we know is that we are going to get to our end goal and dream.
